Shrimpy
4-6 servings
It's butter and shrimp. Period. Okay...an ass load of butter - just don't eat the whole thing yourself.
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter (4 sticks)
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 2 pounds 31/40 shrimp, shell on deveined
- 6 tablespoons fresh ground black pepper
Steps
- Heat oven to broil
- In a 9 x13 pan, thinly slice and spread out 2 sticks of the butter to cover bottom of pan
- PLace shrimp on top of butter and top shrimp with half the pepper
- Top with remaining butter and then remaining pepper
- Broil until shrimp are nicely pink, you shouldn't need to flip them
- Serve with lots of warm, crusty sour dough bread for dipping - lots
