Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
makes about 4 cups
Works for pasta, fish or pretty much anything. I put this on a fried egg that's on top of a grilled piece of whole wheat bread - then I drizzle the whole thing with a little really good extra virgin olive oil.
Ingredients
- 1-28 ounce can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1-12 ounce jar roasted red peppers, drained
- 1-teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Steps
- Put everything in a blender, and blend - pretty easy huh? Then all you need to do is heat some when you need it
