Chimichurri

Makes about 1 cup - Thank you Argentina! This is so delicious on any kind of grilled meat, poultry, vegetables whatever. Even just to use for dipping grilled, crusty bread into would be insane

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 bunch curly parsley, leaves only, no stems
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano leaves, or 2 teaspoons dried
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Put everything into a food processor or blender and whiz until fairly smooth
  2. Use it on everything: steak of course, but also shrimp, chicken, eggs - all of it
