Asian Chicken


  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil
  • 4 tablespoons garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemongrass paste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce (I may or may not have used this, but it def won’t hurt)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Boneless chicken thighs, think I had about a dozen


  1. Mix all marinade ingredients, and put most in a ziplock bag or bowl – hold back a little for a final baste when they come off the grill
  2. Before I added the thighs to it, I made 3 or 4 slashes on each side
  3. Think I let them marinate 3 or 4 hours
