Asian Chicken Tacos

Asian Chicken Tacos

Since this uses a deli roasted chicken, you can go from nothing to eat in about 6 minutes. And because the chicken is already cooked, your time in the pan is almost nuthin.

Makes about 4 tacos



  • 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups broccoli coleslaw mix


  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked, deli roasted chicken, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Pinch Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Paste (Sambal Oelek)
  • Sour cream
  • 4 tortillas, corn or flour


  1. In medium bowl mix dressing ingredients (except slaw) well to dissolve sugar, then add slaw and mix to combine - set aside
  2. Heat non-stick pan over medium, and oil and when almost smoking put in the chicken
  3. Cook, stirring often about a minute then add the ginger & garlic, salt and chili paste - cook about a minute
  4. Warm tortillas
  5. Build your taco: sour cream, slaw mix, chicken - eat!
