BBQ Shrimp & Texas Toast

BBQ Shrimp & Texas Toast

This is from our 'freezer aisle' video.

Serves 2-4

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces frozen Texas toast
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 pound 21/25 shrimp, shell on de-veined
  • 1/2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning
  • 1/3 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/3 cup beer
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Cook Texas toast according to package directions - on a grill is ideal here
  2. Melt butter with oil in a large non-stick pan
  3. Add the shrimp, and cook, turning until just turning pink on each side
  4. Add the seasoning and make sure all the shrimp get some love
  5. Pour in the bbq sauce, mixing through well and let simmer about a minute, then add the beer
  6. Cook, stirring well until beginning to thicken slightly, add the parsley and you're done
  7. Serve with the toast
