Beef & Veggie Ramen Bowl

Ingredients

Sauce

  • ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Veggies Noodles Beef

  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, florets removed
  • 2 packs ramen noodles, boiled (seasoning packets discarded)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¾ pound steak, cooked and sliced - 24 hour chuck recipe here

Directions

Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, garlic, limejuice, honey, chili sauce, and oyster sauce. In a separate little bowl, mix thecornstarch with the water and set that aside too.

Veggies Noodles Beef

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Addthe onion, peppers, and broccoli and cook until just tender, about 5 to 6minutes.
  2. Pour in the sauce and let it bubble for a minute or two soit starts to concentrate a bit. Give your cornstarch mixture a quick stir (itsettles), then add it to the pan. Cook another 30 to 60 seconds, stirring,until the sauce turns slightly thicker and glossy.
  3. Add the cooked ramen noodles and sliced steak. Tosseverything together until the noodles are coated and heated through.
  4. Turn off the heat and finish with the sesame oil. Toss oncemore and serve.
