Beer Cheese Bread

Beer Cheese Bread

Goes together in 5 minutes, cooks in 45 and ur done. Will it be the fanciest, most elegant loaf you'll ever have? Hell no. But will you love it? Hell yes you will.

Makes 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, you choose sport
  • 12 ounces of pretty much any beer
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Put everything in a large bowl, and mix well to combine
  3. Spray or butter bottom and sides of a 9x5 loaf pan, and put in the mix
  4. Spread out as evenly as possible - but no matter what it'll still be rugged so don't sweat trying to get it smooth
  5. Bake 40 minutes, remove brush the top with the butter and put back in the oven 5 more minutes
  6. Remove, let cool slightly and have at it
