Breakfast Sausage Waffles

The Carnivore Diet wins again with these crazy delicious, no-carb-at-all protein breakfast waffles. Actually, screw the breakfast part - they're amazing anytime. The recipe makes one, but just double or triple as necessary.

Makes one

Ingredients

  • ¼ pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese, you choose Sparky
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional - maybe top with a fried egg

Directions

  1. Preheat waffle iron
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well
  3. Lightly grease waffle iron, and add mixture into the middle, close
  4. Cook until done, and if it's not brown enough just give it another few minutes
