I don’t have a video for this recipe.
If I had a photo, I would most certainly use it. That is... unless the photo I have sucks. For now, you'll just have to picture a big heaping helping of
Butter Noodles
...in your mind.
Butter Noodles

Butter Noodles

Basic, simple but always welcome everyday butter noodles. The perfect little side for a billion things.

Makes 3-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine, spaghetti, penne - honestly any pasta you'd like (hell, even ramen would work)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated - or more if you like
  • Kosher salt and coarse ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain and put in a bowl (reserve ½ cup of the cooking water)
  2. Add the butter and cheese and stir until the butter has melted
  3. Add some of the cooking water, a couple tablespoons at a time to get it as creamy as you'd like.
  4. Stir in the chopped parsley, add salt and pepper to taste - serve
