Casey's Taco Pizza

Pizza Ingredients

pizza crust
1/2 cup picante sauce, see below
1/2 cup refried beans
1/2 lb ground beef browned and drained
1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup Taco chips
1 small tomato diced
1 cup iceberg lettuce shredded
3 tbsp sour cream
Picante Sauce
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and halved
3 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 garlic clove, halved
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon grated lime zest
5 drops hot pepper sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 375º (follow instructions for your dough)
Spray pizza pan lightly with nonstick cooking spray
Press crust out on pizza pan in a circle
Place crust in oven and par cook at 375º for 5 minutes
Brown ground beef and drain
In a bowl, mix salsa & refried beans and set aside
1/2 cup Pace Picante sauce, 1/2 cup refried beans
Grate cheeses, lightly crush chips, dice tomato and shred lettuce
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1 cup Taco chips, 1 small tomato, 1 cup iceberg lettuce
Remove crust from oven and top with bean mixture for your pizza sauce
1/2 cup Pace Picante sauce, 1/2 cup refried beans
Top with ground beef, mozzarella, cheddar cheese and a few crushed chips
1/2 lb ground beef, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1 cup Taco chips
Bake at 375º for 5-7 minutes
Turn oven to Low Broil and broil for 2-3 minutes until crust and cheese turns golden brown
Remove pizza from oven and top with more chips, diced tomato, shredded lettuce and drizzle with sour cream.
