Cheesy Hashbrown Waffles

Makes 2 full-size waffles


  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt & coarse ground black pepper
  • 8 ounces uncooked hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup diced green onion
  • Cooking spray


  1. Put everything except cooking spray (that was obvious,right?) in a bowl, and mix well to combine
  2. When your waffle maker is hot, add the cooking spray to both surfaces, and pour in some batter – but since I don’t know what size maker you have, and you might have one of those cute little guys…I’ll leave the amount up to you
  3. Then close the lid and wait for the ‘done’ light
  4. Serve
