If I had a photo, I would most certainly use it. That is... unless the photo I have sucks. For now, you'll just have to picture a big heaping helping of
Melt butter with oil in a cast iron or large pan (with a lid) over medium/high heat, and add potatoes
Season with salt & pepper, and stir well making sure all get covered in the butter/oil, turn down to medium, put on the lid and leave 7-8 minutes - you're looking for the potatoes starting to brown
Remove potatoes and set aside - to the pan add a bit more oil and the ground beef - cook breaking up until about 75% done, remove any excess liquid
Put in the garlic, stirring until fragrant then add the onions and cook 3-4 minutes until softened and beef is done
Add the dried herbs, mix well then put in the potatoes and mix to combine
Pour in the broth and cream, bring to a low simmer and cover - 5 minutes
Take off the lid, stir in the soy, then half the parmesan, and mix gently
Serve with more Parm and some parsley
