Onion Jelly


  • 2 big ass yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • about 6 grinds fresh black pepper


  1. In a large skillet on low heat, add butter oil and cook onions until caramelized 25 minutes
  2. Add rest of ingredients, stir, cook down 10 minutes, let it cool
  3. Store in the fridge, then enjoy with grilled cheese sandwich!
