Pickled Jalepeno Queso

Pickled Jalepeno Queso


  • 1 pound white American cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk, approximately
  • 12 ounces La Costena Sliced Pickled Jalapenos, chopped fine & save the juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper


  1. Heat 1/2 cup of the milk over low heat, and add a small handful of the cheese cubes - wait until the cheese has melted before adding more, continue until all cheese is smooth and creamy, 5-7 minutes
  2. Add the jalapenos, reserved juice, cumin and cayenne
  3. Stir until well combined, adding more milk a little at a time until it’s where you want it
