Pizza Oven Ribeye

All I will say is don't be concerned the anchovy butter will be gross, because you'll never taste it - and only will taste one of the best steaks EVER. NOTE: This is designed for cooking in a pizza oven - but no pizza oven, no problem. Just crank your oven up as far as it'll go, and cook by temperatures.

Serves 1-2

Ingredients

Ribeye

  • 1 ribeye, approx 1¾ to 2 inches thick - about 1.5 pounds
  • Kosher salt and course ground black pepper
  • High-smoke oil

Anchovy Garlic Butter

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2-3 anchovies, mashed
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedge

Directions

Ribeye

  1. Pat steak very dry, season and let rest 30–45minutes.
  2. Heat oven to 750–800 with pan inside
  3. Place cast iron skillet inside while it preheats - about 10 minutes or until brutally hot
  4. Remove skillet, add steak and cook 90 seconds a side, flip and repeat
  5. Then remove, slice and put back in about a minute or so till beautiful
  6. Top with anchovy butter and let rest 5 minutes
  7. Serve

Anchovy Garlic Butter

  1. Combine all ingredients, and mix well - set aside
