Sausage Pasta

This simple & deliciously creamy pasta with sausage was always a massive family favorite.

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound spicy Italian sausage,  (casings removed if in sausage form)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • Salt & pepper to your hearts content

Directions

  1. Heat oil in medium hot pan, add sausage & break apart to crumble
  2. Cook until no longer pink, stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about a minute
  3. Add cream - simmer on low about 10 minutes
  4. While it cooks, add pasta to boiling water - when the pasta's ready, so is the sausage
  5. Drain pasta and add to sausage
  6. Add butter, Parmesan cheese & parsley - mix well and season with salt & pepper till ur happy
