I don’t have a video for this recipe.
If I had a photo, I would most certainly use it. That is... unless the photo I have sucks. For now, you'll just have to picture a big heaping helping of
Garlic Green Beans
...in your mind.
Garlic Green Beans

Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 1/2 cup neutral oil
  • 6 large cloves garlic, minced
  • Approx 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Splash low sodium soy
  • Sesame seeds & crispy garlic for garnish

Directions

  1. Prep the green beans - rinse, dry really well and bust off the ends
  2. Heat oil to about 350 degrees
  3. Don’t overcrowd the pot or pan, and cook a couple minutes - remove to a bowl with paper towels to drain and continue with remaining beans
  4. Remove oil leaving about a teaspoon and add garlic - cook stirring until fragrant, 30-45 seconds
  5. Put back in the green beans, salt, red pepper flakes back to the wok and to mix
  6. Add soy splash, stir again and remove to a serving plate.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and garlic.
