I don’t have a video for this recipe.
If I had a photo, I would most certainly use it. That is... unless the photo I have sucks. For now, you'll just have to picture a big heaping helping of
Homemade Granola
...in your mind.

Homemade Granola

My sister-in-law Cheryl turned me on to this crazy good granola. Make it once and you won’t be buying it from the store anymore. Serves about 8-10

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • large pinch Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil or coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300
  2. Put all ingredients (except oil and honey) in a large bowl - stir well to mix
  3. In small bowl mix honey and oil, microwave 1 minute
  4. Pour honey/oil mixture over dry ingredients and mix until evenly coated
  5. Spread out on large baking sheet, cook for 40 minutes, stirring well every 10 minutes
  6. Cool and eat. I like mine with low fat Greek Yogurt - but really you can put it on old shoes and they’d taste great.
